Privacy policy

Bapita Co-Hosting manages short-term rentals for apartment owners in Israel. This page explains what information reaches us through this website, what we do with it and how to ask us to change or delete it.

What we collect

This website has no forms and no accounts. You can read every page without telling us who you are.

Information reaches us in three ways:

• When you message us on WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with us in WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. We receive your phone number, your WhatsApp name and whatever you write, such as your apartment's area or details. Meta's own privacy policy covers how WhatsApp handles it.
• When you book a call. The "Book a call" button opens a booking page run by Google Calendar. Google collects the details you enter, usually your name and email. Google then passes them to us so we can hold the call. Google's privacy policy covers how Google handles it.
• When you email us at info@bapita.com. We receive your address and your message.

Visit statistics. We count visits and button taps with Umami, an analytics service that uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. We see totals: how many people visited a page, which button they tapped, which link brought them. We can't see who you are.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records technical details of each request, such as the IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these logs to identify visitors.

Cookies

This website doesn't set cookies for advertising or tracking. WhatsApp and Google may use their own cookies once you're on their pages.

What we use it for

• To answer your question and arrange a call.
• If you become a client, to manage your apartment under the written agreement we sign together. That agreement also covers how we handle your information as a client.
• To understand which pages and buttons help owners find what they need, from visit totals only.

We don't sell your information. We don't use it for advertising either.

Who else sees it

Only the services named on this page (WhatsApp, Google, Cloudflare and Umami) as part of running them. Also anyone the law requires us to share it with. Some of these services store data outside Israel.

How long we keep it

We keep conversations for as long as we're in touch or working together. After that we keep them only as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your information and the law doesn't require us to keep it, we delete it.

Your rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law you can ask to see the information we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct or delete it. Write to info@bapita.com or message us on WhatsApp at 053-437-9176. We reply within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
